Bio
Alina is currently working as a self-employed person and has been an intern at Strategikon since May 2016. Her main concerns are on social and political aspects of terrorism, the social impact of migration and international development
She holds a BA in European Administration from the National School of Political Studies and Public Administration, where she focused on the role of civil society organisations in EU governance. Her interest in development and migration started during her Erasmus Scholarship at Kaunas University of Technology, after which she decided to pursue development studies, continuing with a MA in Development, International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid.
During her studies, Alina was a volunteer at the Foundation For An Open Society and the Institute for International Cooperation and Development (ICID), where she organised several events on topics related to Eastern Europe. She was also an intern at EuroPunkt.ro, a platform of information and analysis of EU policies, where she wrote news articles, mainly regarding migration issues, as well as an opinion on EU sanctions against Russia in response to the crisis in Ukraine.
