Currently involved in a volunteering program with the European Voluntary Service in Madrid.
Her experience as a volunteer started in 2009. As a member of the local section of the European student organization Erasmus Student Network, Ana-Maria was successively a Secretary General, Project Coordinator, Vice-President and later the President. She also had a 10-month term as the Secretary General of the National Board of ESN Romania – the entity representing all the sections of Romania at a national level. From September 2014 to February 2016, Ana was a member of the Bucharest local group of Amnesty International, helping organize events pertaining to human rights.
Between 2014 and 2016, Ana-Maria worked in the private sector.
Her involvement as an intern at Strategikon started in May 2016.
A previous internship experience was with the editorship of Foreign Policy Romania, where she made contributions to the Romanian edition of Foreign Policy, such as literary translations or article writing for print and online, social media.
Ana-Maria holds a Bachelor in International Relations from the RISE Department of the Faculty of History and an MA in Studies of International Development and the Ethics of International Relations, the University of Bucharest. In 2011-2012, she was awarded an ERASMUS grant at the RWTH University in Aachen, Germany.
